Blooming cherry trees in Jerte Valley, Province of Cáceres, Spain Jerte Valley in bloom As winter turns to spring in the Jerte Valley, all eyes are on the cherry blossoms. This tiny region in the Province of Cáceres, Spain, has the perfect microclimate for cherry trees, and there are more than 1.5 million of them here in just 37 square kilometres. The cherry blossoms last just two weeks before the petals rain down, covering the entire valley. About 40 days later, the first cherries are ready to be picked. Locals make wine, beer, and various foods with them. Cherries are also used for spa and beauty treatments, since they have antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties, in addition to vitamins and ellagic acid .

Cumberland's Coastal Forest, Georgia, USA  Cumberland Island, Georgia, USA is rich in natural resources. Here you can find miles of unspoiled beaches, marine forests, and the remains of early island residents.  In the 1880s, Thomas Carnegie, the younger brother of steel king Andrew Carnegie, built the Dungeness mansion on the island, but now only ruins remain.  On Cumberland, you can also see herds of wild horses grazing near the ruins, the picture is very peaceful. "Polar Bears", Hudson Bay, Canada Today is "International Polar Bear Day".    Polar Bears International, a private protection organization, was established and spread worldwide.  A day aimed at protecting polar bears, the animals most affected by global warming… The main food of polar bears is seals.  I live by hunting seals on the frozen sea.  Therefore, when the ice on the sea is low, it becomes impossible to feed.  Polar bears living here in Hudson Bay, Canada, are facing such a crisis.
