"Royal Albert Hall", London, UK An iconic platform to display your art! Today is the birthday of Royal Albert Hall.  Since its inception in 1871, there have been held many legendary events here ... The hall in the image is called the Albert Hall, is lined with famous museums and theatres, including the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Natural History Museum, and is central to London.  In the hall, not only music performances, but also sporting events such as boxing, professional wrestling, tennis, etc are organized here. In 1991, Japanese sumo wrestling was also performed. After a great art exhibition in Hyde Park of London in 1851, Prince Albert suggested to build a recreational facility for his people and this hall is called Albertopolis.  So here we have a royal spot to display our royal talents.

Today is “Hina Festival”. “Hina Doll” It is a spring festival originally transmitted from China as "Kami". I t is called "peach festival" because it is performed at the time when peach blossoms bloom ... Originally, before the Heian period (almost 1,000 years back), it was performed regardless of gender in the same way as the Dango festival, but it gradually became a girl's festival. The custom of this day is to display dolls on a red carpet. The dolls with dresses of Emperor and Empress are placed at the top and the ladies with ministers are in lower rows of the shelf. It is said that the ebb and flow of the evil to the dolls and the doll play of the girls were linked. The Japanese are a bit superstitious here. They believe that if you're a girl and fail to take the dolls out of the shelf right after the festival, no one is going to marry you for a long period of time.  So hurry up girls!  Put the dolls away! This tiny lakeside settlement's Great Temple of Ramesses II was positioned on the orders of that powerful pharaoh so the inner sanctum (in this picture, that's the small room at the very back) is lit by the sun only twice a year. On February 22 and October 22 (thought to be Ramesses' coronation and birth dates, respectively), the first light of dawn illuminates the sanctuary and three statues within: one of Ramesses, one of the sun god Ra, and one of the chief god Amun. A fourth statue depicting the underworld figure Ptah is permanently shrouded in shadow. The temple is one of a pair resting on the man-made Lake Nasser's shores, the other honouring the pharaoh's wife Nefertari. "Sounkyo Ice Falls Festival", Kamikawa-cho, Hokkaido An ice waterfall festival has been held since January 23 in Sounkyo, Kamikawa-cho, Hokkaido.  This festival, which lasts until March 15, offers a variety of attractions, such as an iced bar where you can drink limited liquor, and Ainu folk dances in an illuminated ice town.

"Lion Dance", Gujo City, Gifu Prefecture. The Lion Dance was started in China and travel to the Southeast Asia. In Japan ,  t his is Gifu, Hachiman-cho, Gujo City.  It is a town known for Gujo dance.  The lion dance was filmed in spring, not New Year's.  The lion dance appears every year at the “Taikagura” held at the Gujo Hachiman Spring Festival in April.
