Lake Minnewanka is a 142-metre-deep glacial lake, fed by the Cascade River. The First Nations referred to it as ‘Minn-waki’ which translates to ‘Water of the Spirits.’ This scenic spot is located five kilometres from the town of Banff in Alberta.
