Temple of Saturn in the Roman Forum, Italy.

The temple is built in the honor of Saturn which is standing in the East corner of Rome. The eight gigantic pillars stand tall and represent the ancient tales of gods and imperial period. The mythical Saturn is one of the pioneer figure of Roman Religion. He was worshiped and adorned in the 5th BC in a festival called Saturnalia which started at 17th December and lasted for many days. It was the most joyous festivals among the others as it provided freedom to the slaves, people wore informal clothes instead of toga wears and then there were partying and merrymaking thing that made it different.
